David Mitchell
Founder and CEO of Guardian Care
Founded by David Mitchell in 2021, Guardian Care was built on the belief that family caregiving deserves more – more support, more recognition, and more resources.
Inspired by his upbringing in a tight-knit Indianapolis family and his own experience as a father of four, David created Guardian Care to help Indiana families care for loved ones with complex medical needs.
What began as a small operation has grown into one of the most trusted providers of home care and Indiana family caregiver program support, serving all 92 counties. Our team goes beyond traditional caregiving: we advocate, guide, and empower families to access the benefits they deserve, including getting paid for the care they already provide.
